More than two weeks after Danielle Stislicki was reported missing, the Farmington Hills police said that all evidence and information indicates that she is the victim of a crime.

The Farmington Hills Police Department released a statement Monday saying that investigators have worked tirelessly and have "received extensive assistance and resources from federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies."

Police said they will not release further information about the case but say they are dedicated to solving it and finding Danielle.

The last time anyone saw Danielle was Friday, December 2. She was last seen leaving her work at MetLife in Southfield, Michigan. The 28-year-old has worked there for nearly a decade, according to her mother Ann. Ann herself has worked at MetLife for more than 25 years, but wasn't in the office that Friday.

Danielle had set plans to meet a close friend for dinner, but she didn't show.

BERKELY, Mich. (WXYZ) - A home in Berkley where a security guard lives with his wife has been searched multiple times in connection with the search of missing Danielle Stislicki.

An attorney for the man says, like any other citizen, he has the right to not talk to police and that he has nothing to say to them. He has not been arrested.

Thursday night, Farmington Hills Police and crime scene investigators returned to the man's home on Oxford where they took a mattress as possible evidence.

From the security guard's house, there is easy access to both Highway 1 and Highway 24. My goodness there are so many hidey holes along the highways from Bloomfield Township down to the Detroit River. Looking at the map, right along both highways there are parks, ponds, a zoo, golf courses, cemeteries, state fair grounds, and of course the Detroit River in the area. And oh my! Bloomfield Township has a lot of water.

More interesting to me though, is the smaller Hiway 24, which runs north/south of the MetLife building. That seems like it would be less traveled in the wee hours of the morning, and more "familiar" to FG. I wonder what other jobs he had along Highway 24, past or present, that gave him knowledge of and access to locations off the beaten path. His FB is no longer available so we can't peek around from that account.

This is an important detail because if she was "seen" driving her vehicle as she left, can we assume she was not seen in the company of the security guard? I have been wondering for some time now who saw her driving her vehicle as she left her job. Keep in mind, law enforcement asked repeatedly for anyone who saw her to come forward. Could it be that the security guard was the one who saw Danielle leave? If law enforcement had no other sightings of Danielle, could this be why they honed in on the security guard?

For one, in the first 24 hours she was missing, nobody even realized she was missing. Two, its a great place to put the jeep and mislead the investigation. From the appearance, it looks as if Danielle is at home, possibly sleeping. From the perps standpoint, it creates a red herring which makes law enforcement think she was abducted from the apartment, especially considering her purse and wallett were locked inside the jeep. That buys the perp time. LE is focusing on interviewing neighbors, searching the complex....but Danielle isn't there! Makes it look like the connection to MetLife isn't there.

Judging by LE's initial statements , and the statements made by DS's mother it sounds like they had an idea about FG from the beginning. This leads me to believe they may have been having a secret affair. Her mother may have even known about it. It sounds like she was calling him out- knowing she wasn't supposed to be with him? IF they were having an affair could DS have been pregnant? FG could've easily manipulated DS into feeling sorry for him, using his wife's health to his own benefit. The only thing that leads me to believe they became close for other reasons is the DEA being involved. Why would they need to be there?

Farmington Hills detectives and members of the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office Crime Lab were at a home in Berkley last night investigating the disappearance of Danielle Stislicki. Farmington Hills detectives and investigators from several other agencies have been involved in searches and the collection of evidence at numerous locations over the past three weeks. Detectives, evidence technicians and crime lab personnel from several law enforcement agencies have been working tirelessly and remain committed to finding Danielle and solving this case. The investigation has been progressing since day one. I understand a caring public and media are anxious for information. However, no information will be released regarding the specifics of the case in order to maintain the integrity of the investigation.

Stislicki was last seen on December 2 as she left work at Metlife in Southfield.

The security guard also works, or worked, at Metlife.

7 Action News reached a woman by cell phone who we believe to be the man's mother, but as soon as reporter Kimberly Craig introduced herself, the woman ended the call and did not reply to a text message.

Farmington Hills Police remained tight-lipped about their investigation, their chief only releasing the following statement.

Over the last few days, we have noticed an increasing number of comments suggesting or planning ground searches to look for Danielle Stislicki, or her missing effects. The family of Danielle, in addition to investigators on the case, are NOT recommending any ground searches at this time. Investigators know how many followers our FB page has, and that a search could be executed at the drop of a hat. If, and when that need arises, we will call upon you to help us in that endeavor.
Now is just not that time.
The family asks if you would please refrain from using the Find Danielle Stislicki page to organize searches, or to recruit for searches.
Our prime function when we published this page was, and still is, to:

I am wondering if she was using online dating sites, and she just ran into the wrong person. Maybe went on one date and wasn't interested, but the person had enough information to seek her out.
There is something else I have thought about, but I think it's a far cry. Odd situation though. Her friend that she had arranged to have dinner with that night, and didn't show up, boyfriend, is currently in jail on murder charges for the death of the friends baby. Abused and killed the baby while she was at work. I am not sure if he was the father of the child. I don't think he has been on trial yet. (From what I could tell). Was she, Danielle, on a witness list? Maybe targeted for this reason? Like I said, probably a pretty remote possibility, but as they are not giving any information out, just something I thought about.
Or..it was totally random, no connection whatsoever. Wrong place at the wrong time.
